Dristi Basnet was born in Bhutan and moved to the United States in 2001, living in Virginia since. Dristi earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and worked as a clinical research coordinator for Cystic Fibrosis studies. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University followed by master’s degree in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University. She has worked with pediatrics in the Northern Virginia and DC area for the past 7 years. Dristi joins our team with experience from working at another local Federally Qualified Health Center to working at large scale hospitals such as Children's National Medical Center and INOVA Children's Hospital. She currently lives in Fairfax with family and her golden-doodle dog. Dristi enjoys traveling, photography, trying new food and learning about cultures. Has traveled to 13 countries so far.
